We are hosting three volunteers that accompanied local people in the West-Bank and East-Jerusalem. They were sent by peace organisation PAX as international observers to monitor developments there as part of the EAPPI. The EAPPI (Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel) was started by the World Council of Churches in an effort to monitor the humanitarian situation. The volunteers spent three months there and met with different families, supporting them and hearing about their struggles and hopes. They have now returned to the Netherlands to share not just their own experiences there, but the stories of the people they met there.
