Our society is changing rapidly. Medical challenges, social conflicts and technological breakthroughs dominate the daily news. Major tensions in international politics seem the become more common and accusations and discussions are frequent between countries such as the United States, North Korea, Russia and China. This can result in diplomatic disruptions or even threats. The likelihood of a third world war seems to become more apparent, but what would this entail? And what would be the consequences for the world we currently live in?
All these questions and more will be answered by prof. André Gerrits and Lorena De Vita. Professor Gerrits’ main fields of interest include ideas in world politics, Russian domestic and international politics, and EU external relations. Dr. De Vita is an Assistant Professor in the History of International Relations at Utrecht University.
