Plasma donation is maybe less known than blood donation, however it is not less important. Plasma is a specific part of the blood that is needed by patients and is also very important to make life saving medicines. Around 250.000 patients in the Netherlands are being treated by medicines made out of plasma and this number is growing every year. That is exactly the reason why Sanquin is always looking for people who are willing to become a plasma donor. During our talk on March 1st we will learn more about plasma donation and blood donation in general by an employee of the Sanquin Powerbank: the first plasma only donation location in the Netherlands. Come by during our talk and find out how donating your plasma can save lives!
