Lecture: Trouble on the European electricity grids

European electricity grids have been facing a big challenge over the past years: grid congestion. This forms a major setback in the energy transition which requires more and more electrification.
In this lecture, Maarten Staats will dive into the history, how this problem came to be and analyse the current situation on European grids. How can we unlock the European electricity grids, so they support the energy transition instead of obstructing it?

Ice Skating: Second Try

The weather may have stopped us from going ice skating last Tuesday, but on 20 January we’re trying again⛸!

Grab some skates and twirl on the ice, race your friends or drink a hot cocoa while watching from the sidelines, for a max of €8.

You can bring your own ice skates or rent them at De Vechtsebanen at your own expense (the rent is €8). You must bring gloves, otherwise you won’t be allowed to go skating💙

Signing up means you have to pay, even if you do not show up!!
