South Sudan Lecture
Tue 26 May | 20:00 | Kargadoor
South Sudan has been grappling with a humanitarian crisis for years, caused by the political situation, extreme poverty, refugee flows from Sudan, and climate disasters. Unfortunately, this crisis remains largely underreported in the media. Tessa is a program coordinator at Red een Kind with a focus on South Sudan. She will share some of her experiences, such as the enormous challenge of making a difference in a region like South Sudan. We’ll learn about the humanitarian context, and the role of Dutch and international organisations, with plenty of room for your questions of course!
