Mister Jack Groot (1939) will give a historical overview of how the Dutch tried to keep their Colony, The Dutch East Indies, as the source of income for the motherland.
The ancestors of the Groot-family have sent their sons to the East since about 1750. The presentation is illustrated with family history and personal experiences in the last colonial war 1945-1949 as well.
